Chalet Le 1946, completely renovated in 2021, is a charming luxury chalet in Courchevel Le Praz. Located opposite the Olympic ski jumps of Courchevel, it is an easy walk to the ski lifts and bottom of the ski slopes. The Praz gondola will whisk you directly to the centre of Courchevel 1850 in only 8 minutes, whilst the Foret chairlift will take you directly to the ski slopes above La Tania. All the local resort amenities, including a great selection of restaurants, can be reached within a few minutes walk.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and 250m2 of living space. The open plan living spaces are arranged on the middle floor and offer the perfect communal space to enjoy time together after you return from the ski slopes. Plentiful wood panelling has been perfectly complemented with tiled floors, contemporary furniture, and a fully equipped kitchen. The corner fireplace ensures you will enjoy a cosy mountain ambiance in the evenings.
Sleeping 12 guests, the 6 bedrooms all offer en-suite facilities. There are four bedrooms on the top floor, one on the middle level, and the final bedroom on the lower level. For groups of 10 or less, it is also possible to rent the chalet with only 5 bedrooms. All the rooms have been decorated in a modern alpine style and offer the perfect cocoon for a peaceful night’s sleep.
On the lowest level of the chalet are the private spa facilities which include an indoor hot tub, steam room and sauna. The ski room has boot dryers and storage for all your equipment, and is shared with Chalet Le 1992, along with the laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Chalet Le 1946 is available on a bed & breakfast basis and includes daily afternoon tea and housekeeping.
