Chalet Caro is an impressive 8 person catered chalet conveniently located just 8 minutes walk to the centre of Meribel and access to its ski slopes. This stylish ski chalet is perfect for those seeking warm and contemporary accommodation in a fantastic location. Completed in 2017 the chalet is arranged over three floors, and decorated with a mix of modern chic furniture which blends with traditional alpine wood typical of Savoyard chalets. The chalet sleeps up to eight people in four twin or double bedrooms.
The main entrance on the top floor of the chalet takes you through the welcoming hallway into the wonderful sitting/TV room with views of the mountains. There is a large seating area with comfy L-shaped sofas in front of the log fire and home cinema system, providing the ideal setting in which to relax after a day on the slopes. On this top floor there is also the heated boot/ski room, a guest toilet and access to the garage.
The elegantly designed staircase leads to the middle floor, and the ultra-modern Bulthaup designer kitchen and dining area. This is a striking open plan room with two double floor-to-ceiling sliding doors leading guests to the south facing terrace with hot tub and views to the mountains beyond.
The kitchen looks over the large dining table which seats 8 people comfortably. This is an ideal space for entertaining guests and enjoying stories of the days skiing, or making plans for the next day. This room also has a small coffee table/cosy area, and a second TV.
This middle floor is home to the first of the 4 double/twin bedrooms with a small balcony, and en-suite with double basins, toilet and walk in shower. The lower floor is home to the other three bedrooms. There is one double/twin bedroom with a small terrace leading to the landscaped garden. This room has an en suite bathroom with double basins, toilet and luxury bath. The other two bedrooms on this floor also have en suite bathrooms, both with showers and toilets. One has direct access to the garden.
Located on the Route de la Pia du Caro, at the top end of the Mussillon, the chalet quarter of Meribel. The shops, bars and restaurants in the centre Meribel, where there is also access to the ski slopes are only a 10 minute walk away. There is also easy access to Sully’s for après ski drinks and late night dancing.
There is a bus stop 180m from the chalet, offering a free service to and from Meribel, Meribel Village, Chaudanne, Altiport and Mottaret. There is a supermarket, as well as a speciality cheese & charcuterie shop, both within a few hundred metres
The chalet is available on a catered basis, and includes access to an in-resort driver service from 8am to midnight making it nice and easy to access the ski slopes and resort centre each day.
There is car parking available at the chalet for those driving to resort.
