Something I’ve never seen before and really love is the inflatable outdoor see-through igloo, which is adorned with scatter cushions and faux fur throws. This wonderful cosy snug is the perfect spot to enjoy some relaxed après ski or pre-dinner cocktails, as well as making for some memorable holiday photo’s.

Quite possibly one of the best locations is Val d’Isère but still offering a dedicated chauffeur service to take you to the resort centre.

If you have complete beginner skiers going to ski school again the chauffeur service is available from 8am to get everyone to ski school and hopefully by the end of the week they might be skiing to and from the door of the chalet.

The chalet has a cosy rustic atmosphere and provides spacious living whilst retaining a traditional chocolate box chalet feel. The snug TV room allows you to escape and snuggle down to watch a movie or becomes the perfect retreat for the children away from watchful parents’ eyes. If you’re looking for a great ski in ski out chalet location with breathtaking views then look no further than Chalet Lafitenia. A wonderful 6 en-suite bedroom luxury catered ski chalet sleeping up to 12 guests. Situated in a private setting above Val d’Isère and only a 2 minute chauffeur drive to the resort centre and ski lifts this chalet has an excellent location.

The chalet is traditional and charming with a cosy atmosphere and featuring luxury facilities such as a cinema room and a wellness area with space to relax and unwind with a book or enjoy a soothing sauna.

What makes this chalet truly special are the incredible views of the Manchet Valley which are enjoyed from most of the bedrooms, the living room with its double height picture windows and most importantly from your private hot tub. At the far end of the resort where the road ends as the Col d l’iseran is closed for the winter you’ll reach the exclusive and beautiful village of Le Fornet; a 3-minute chauffeur drive from the main resort centre. This chalet boasts an enviable location just 200m from the Le Fornet cable car and you can even ski back to the chalet. The chalet chauffeur service operates until 8pm daily and the free ski resort bus service until 2pm. This allows you to enjoy both the beauty of Le Fornet and the hustle and bustle of the main resort centre.

Don’t be fooled though into thinking that Le Fornet lacks much in the way of amenities as it does in fact it have a few restaurants including the world class L’Atelier d’Edmond a highly recommended 2 Michelin star restaurant.
