Chalet O Valala is a luxury catered ski chalet in the exclusive Le Cret area of Val d’Isere. This spacious property has an elevated setting that ensures breathtaking views over the resort and Solaise and Bellevarde ski slopes. Inside you will discover a grand living room, extensive spa facilities and 6 bedrooms all with their own individual style. Sleeping 12-13 guests, the chalet is surrounded by trees and provides a private setting for your ski holiday.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 550m2 of living space all connected by stairs and an elevator. You can enter the chalet via the heated ski room with individual boot and glove warmers, satellite TV and coffee area. Never has getting ready or returning from skiing been as easy or pleasurable as this. From the ski room you can then head directly into the chalet and take the elevator up to the main living room.
As soon as the lift doors open you will be greeted by the striking design of the open plan living rooms which will surely make you instantly smile. The sitting room is dominated by the vaulted ceiling, dramatic fireplace and an enormous extended sofa set beneath playful lighting. From here you can step out onto the terrace overlooking the resort. In the evenings why not enjoy an aperitif at the bar before taking a seat at the dining table to delight in freshly prepared cuisine.
The ground floor is where you will find the main sleeping spaces with four en-suite bedrooms with the remaining two rooms on the top floor. All the bedrooms can be arranged with double or twin beds and one of the rooms has a single sofa bed to bring the occupancy up to 13. Each room has been decorated in natural, calm tones and are equipped with satellite TV and a balcony with mountain views.
For those who prefer a lazy day in, or if you are in need of some relaxation after a hard day’s skiing, the chalet’s dedicated spa is the place to head to. The indoor swimming pool is 8m x 3m so there is plenty of room for swim and playtime. Afterwards ease tired bodies in the hammam, with a massage in the dedicated treatment room or just unwind poolside. Outside there is also a sunken hot tub and barrel sauna, and the dedicated cinema room perfect for an evening movie.
The centre of Val d’Isere is a 15 minute walk away or only a few minutes with your in-resort chauffeur service. Each morning you will be dropped directly at the ski lifts and ski school meeting points, and in the afternoon after perhaps some après ski, your chauffeur will whisk you back to the chalet. Your dedicated chalet team will look after your every need and your private chef will deliver memorable evening dinner parties (*food & drink costs additional and charged in resort).
