Les Perles consists of our four unique and very rare adjacent Zermatt residences rented as one unit for exclusive use by a larger group, these being Chalet Gemini, Chalet Castor and Chalet Ibron and Chalet Pollux. These four triplex freestanding chalets are located within 10 metres of each other making them a perfect retreat for a larger group of up to 34 guests.
Each of these four chalets is a luxurious free-standing three storey independent chalet with 4 bedrooms (in Castor, Pollux and Ibron) or 5 bedrooms (in Gemini). The chalets come with an electro transporter, which the staff will use to move your luggage and shopping as required. Ski equipment is left in the ski room down in the tunnel.
Their location provides the best of both worlds: spectacular views and easy access. Side by side, tucked against a beautiful hillside, the numerous balconies and large terraces give you bird’s eye views of the village and the surrounding mountains, encompassing all three of Zermatt’s ski areas.
Yet access is easy: 200m from the Matterhorn Express base lift station and resort run there is a street level tunnel which leads you to a lift (elevator) built inside the mountain, from the top of which there is a gentle 2 minute walk to the property. Skis and boots can be left in the tunnel’s ski-room.
Although they do not have a Matterhorn view, the chalets are bathed in sun as soon as it emerges. Castor and Pollux are mirror images of each other sharing one structural wall, Gemini and Ibron are free-standing just a few feet away.
Each chalet has been tastefully decorated, delicately combining an Alpine, cosy and contemporary finish, with liberal use of wood and stone. They have all the latest technology with flat-screen TVs, more than a hundred satellite channels, fireplaces and geothermal heating to reduce the chalets’ carbon footprint as much as possible.
Three chalets enjoy the use of their own unique private outdoor hot tubs surrounded by snow (in the winter), perfect to relax and enjoy the view (or the stars), after a long day in the mountains. In addition there are saunas located in chalet Gemini and Ibron.
The chalets are adjacent to each other enabling a group of up to 34 guests to stay in the same location while benefiting from the space and privacy that only sole-occupancy luxury chalets can provide.
Included in the catered price for Les Perles are 4 professional chefs and 4 experienced chalet hosts serving up our gourmet half-board dining service in each chalet, an open bar in each chalet, cleaning and unlimited wine.
