Chalet La Balance is a cosy chalet in Nendaz with an elevated setting affording breathtaking views. Recently renovated chalet and with a new extension, the chalet offers all you need for a holiday in the Swiss Alps with family or friends. With a free ski bus stop close to the chalet and just a 15 minute walk to Haute Nendaz resort centre, the location is perfect for both winter and summer holidays.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and can accommodate 12 people. The large open plan kitchen/diner with lounge corner and a wood burner are on the middle floor and offers direct access to the garden, making it easy to enjoy alfresco summer BBQ dinners. There is a second lounge seating area adjacent for those who love to read or listen to music, plus a further family lounge with TV and a wood burning fireplace.
The six bedrooms are spread between the three floors. On the upper level there are four bedrooms, two of which have en suite facilities. On the middle floor is another double bedroom with private shower room, as well as the sauna and access to the outdoor hot tub with amazing views. The final room is on the ground floor and is large double/twin with en-suite, along with the chalet entrance and ski room.
For those driving to resort, the chalet is directly accessible with your car. There is a 20m steep incline just before the chalet and you may need snow chains depending on the winter conditions.
We always recommend arriving in a 4×4, which also gives you more comfort and ease driving around resort. If using a 2-wheel drive car, you must have winter tyres and the carrying of snow chains is highly recommended.
During the ski season it is easy to rent ski-lockers at the télécabine, which then allows you to walk or use the free ski bus to and from the chalet wearing your normal winter shoes. At the end of your ski day simply leave your skis and boots in the heated locker near the end of the piste, ready for your next day’s adventure. The ski bus stops just 100m from the chalet.
