Located in the Tyrol province of Austria, the Zillertal is a broad valley 32km in length. Surrounded by many 3,000m peaks, this is the world’s largest skiing valley with 179 lifts between an altitude of 560m to 3,350m. With 508km of groomed slopes including demanding, sporty downhill runs and pristine slopes covered in deep powder snow as well as sunny and wide carving slopes for families and beginners.
The Zillertal is divided into 4 extensive skiing area; Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch, Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen and Ski & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000. The resort of Hochzillertal-Hochfügen is a snowsure wintersports destination that can be accessed from the village of Kaltenbach or from the village of Hochfügen at 1,500m. The many blue, red and black slopes stretch all the way up to 2,500m, while freeriders can head even higher up to the peaks overlooking the resort.
The lift system is modern and efficient, whilst the quiet slopes will particularly suit families with children and beginners taking their first turns on snow. For those who love to push their limits, the snowpark offers plenty of kickers, rails and other obstacles for snowboarders and freestyle skiers.
