Luxury chalet Horstman 4930 is located on the exclusive Horstman Lane towards the bottom of the Blackcomb mountain. This traditional log post and beam ski chalet is arranged over 3,800 square feet of living space and can accommodate 10-14 guests in five bedrooms. This authentic Whistler home has all the amenities needed for a memorable holiday in both the winter or summer seasons.
The central, spacious and impressive sunken living room with vaulted ceilings features a huge wood burning fireplace and is the perfect spot for evenings with friends and family. The adjoining dining room can easily seat all your guests and the fully equipped gourmet kitchen includes a 6-burner gas range, stainless side-by side fridge and your choice of Nespresso, Kurig or fresh ground beans for your morning coffee needs.
To the side of the living spaces there is an additional living room with state-of-the art home theatre system. The chalet is set up for entertaining and you can play your own music throughout the house, including right in the outdoor hot tub that has its own blue-tooth connection.
Upstairs is the master suite with its own private sitting room with a study for those needing privacy, as well as a very large en-suite eucalyptus spa bathroom. Two further bedrooms occupy this level with queen-size double beds and en-suite facilities. The final two en-suite bedrooms again have queen-size double beds but also feature in-built bunk beds making these great as family rooms.
To access the ski slopes, it is just a short 8 minute walk to the edge of the home run into Blackcomb base and where you can ski down to the new 10 passenger gondola. At the end of your day’s skiing or snowboarding, you can literally ski right back to your front door. If you want to partake in some après ski at the mountain base, the free resort shuttle bus brings you right back to within a 3 minute walk of the house.
