Apartment Nanuq is a beautiful ski in ski out property in Meribel. Located in an elevated setting in the Rond-Point des Pistes area of the resort, numerous balconies let you enjoy wonderful views across the Meribel valley. The apartment comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests in seven bedrooms as well as offering spacious living and entertaining spaces.
The property is part of the Yeti Residence and is spread over three floors and 450m2 of floor area. The entrance to the apartment is on the third floor where you arrive into the expansive open plan living, dining and kitchen area. This convivial space has a wood burning fireplace as the centrepiece and is neatly arranged to maximise room for all your group to be together.
Plush sofas and armchairs offer two separate seating areas, and the large oak dining table seats up to 14 people and sits to one side of the kitchen with island unit. Multiple French windows provide access to the wrap-around balcony and the perfect spot for a morning coffee in the fresh mountain air. The décor of calming green hues and neutral accents creates a relaxed ambiance.
Also on this floor are the first three en-suite bedrooms with a large master as well as a further two double bedrooms. Heading up the floating staircase to the second floor there two more double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms. The final two bedrooms are on the top floor and are a well-appointed double bedroom with TV and a charming bunk bedroom perfect for children. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a separate shower.
Stepping back down to the middle level and the large inviting TV room with deep sofa and armchairs, as well as a bar, invites fun movie nights in. This space features vaulted ceilings and sliding glass doors that open onto a balcony with panoramic views over the ski slopes. On the landing is a reading nook bathed in natural light and a cosy spot for your holiday read. For rejuvenation there is also a hammam complete with separate shower and is ideal for relaxing tired ski muscles.
The Yeti Residence is located just off the edge of the Forêt piste, and the Adret chairlift is an easy 350m ski away. Once at the top of the Adret chairlift you can choose to ski in the Meribel valley, or ski to the Loze chairlift or Saulire Express 2 gondola which will bring you to the top of the Courchevel ski slopes.
A big benefit of staying in the Rond-Point area means that you do not need to head down to the main lift hub at the Chaudanne in the morning to start your ski day. For those with children you are just across the road from the ESF meeting points at the Rond-Point for group lessons on peak weeks, and there is also a dedicated Piou-Piou snow kindergarten for the youngest children.
For those who enjoy some lively après ski with live music, the well-known Rond Point or “Ronnie” venue is nearby and just a 150m stroll back afterwards. To access the centre of Meribel, there is a bus stop to access the free resort bus service 100m from the residence. There are also restaurants, ski rental shops as well as a small supermarket all within 500m.
