Chalet Ascension is a luxury ski chalet located at the foot of the ski slopes of Courchevel 1650. This chalet could not be more perfectly located for ski-loving groups or families looking for the most convenient location for their ski holiday. The fast Ariondaz gondola is a short 200m slide away and which will whisk you up into the Courchevel ski area, and the beginning slopes and lifts are even closer.
The chalet sleeps up to 12 adults and 2 children and is arranged over five floors and 411m2 of floor area. An elevator in the property ensures it is nice and easy for all generations to access all floors. The chalet has been decorated with a neutral white colour palette along with wood finishes that creates a sophisticated, unified, and calming interior design.
The top floor is home to the breathtaking open plan living and dining area. High ceilings and large windows fill this room with abundant natural light as well as offering panoramic views over the ski slopes. A striking hanging fireplace sits at the centre of the floor with a lounge area to one side and dining table seating 12 the other. The kitchen is adjacent and a large balcony perfect for alfresco dining with a mountain backdrop.
The chalet’s six double bedrooms are spread evenly between the first and second floors and all feature en-suite facilities. Each bedroom has been tastefully decorated with statement lighting fixtures and offers chic chalet vibes that offer a private retreat each night. Also on the first floor is the well-equipped ski room that offers direct access onto the Courchevel ski slopes.
The lowest two floors of the chalet are dedicated to rejuvenation and relaxation. On the ground floor is the spa equipped with indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam, and a dedicated massage room. This peaceful space is perfect for unwinding after a day’s skiing or for any non-skiers in your group who simply wish to relax on their winter holiday.
Tucked away on the lower ground floor is the cinema room which is perfect for movie nights. This room also features a bunk bed ideal for 2 children. Please note that this room has no windows and can only accommodate a maximum of two children. There is also a convenient laundry room on this level.
From the chalet it is only a 5-minute walk to the centre of Courchevel 1650 (Moriond) and it is easy to connect to the other Courchevel villages of 1850, 1550 and Le Praz. The ski slopes of Courchevel 1650 pass in front of the chalet, so you can be first on the mountain each day. The ski school meeting points and ESF Club Piou Piou for 3 to 5 year olds are all within a few minutes’ walk.
Chalet Ascension is available to rent on a catered chalet or self-catered basis.
