Chalet Les Tissourds is a wonderful Maison de Pays, beautifully restored and refurbished in 2009, a self-catered chalet in a class of its own.
Built originally in 1924 the chalet is brilliantly located, just a 10 minute stroll to the centre of Chamonix and near fabulous restaurants. Situated in a quiet road there are wonderful views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley.
A modern design within a traditional setting, the chalet is a delicious mixture of old and new. The interior is impressive, with the hand-made Ben Whistler furniture complementing the innovative design and open-plan layout – Contemporary Chamonix Chic!
On the ground floor there is an open-plan kitchen and living room, plus a ski and boot room with boot warmers. On the lower ground floor there is a cosy snug with sofas, beanbags and a 130cm screen, there you can chill out with some DVDs.
Next door is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Take a plunge in the Jacuzzi, which is outdoors with views of Mont Blanc. There is car parking available at the chalet.
The chalet is rented on a self-catered basis, though it is possible to be reserved with the services of a chef and housekeeper. Please contact us for more details.
