Chalet les Trois Soeurs is a luxury self-catered ski chalet in Chamonix. Located in a quiet, residential area, the setting offers panoramic mountains views of the Mont Blanc range along with stunning views of les Drus. The Brevent and Flegere lift stations are just a few minutes’ drive away, and it is walkable to Chamonix centre, meaning the location ticks lots of boxes.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and 360m2 of floor area. On the ground floor is the impressive and spacious double height open plan living room. This striking space features a lounge area and dining table which are separated by the double-sided wood burner. The fully equipped and open kitchen with breakfast bar adds to the convivial ambiance, and the views are ever present through the huge windows.
Sleeping 10-12 guests, the bedrooms are evenly split between the top and lower ground floors. The grand master suite is on the top floor and features a vaulted ceiling and views down the valley. There is a further double and twin/double bedrooms on the top floor, and they share a separate shower room. On the lowest level is a further double bedroom with en-suite, as well as 2 twin/double rooms that share a separate family bathroom.
The chalet is well equipped when it comes to relaxation and entertaining. Outside the expansive deck is perfect for al fresco dining, or you can sink into the hot tub, or perhaps enjoy a game of petanque. Back inside and there is an entertainment room with Smart TV and pool table, large sauna, and a work-out space with mirrored wall and rowing machine.
If driving to Chamonix there is plenty of parking with a double garage with EV charging point, as well as exterior parking available. There is ski storage and boot dryers, along with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There are two supermarkets within 3km of the chalet, so it is easy to make sure you have all the provisions you need for home cooking. If you prefer going out for lunch or dinner, Chamonix offers an abundance of restaurants, cafes, and bars. Chamonix is a year-round destination and therefore offers excellent facilities for non-skiers too, including a sports centre and cinema.
When it comes to skiing, for those learning to ski the Savoy nursery slopes are 1.5km away, and the Planards nursery slopes 2.3km. The nearest ski slopes for those who can already link their turns is at the Brevent / Flegere area which sits above Chamonix town centre. The nearest access point is via the Flegere gondola which is 1.5km from the chalet.
The other ski areas of the Chamonix valley include Grands Montets which is a real adventure playground for strong skiers and snowboarders. At either end of the valley are Les Houches and Le Tour, and these areas offer a more varied network of slopes for all levels.
To maximise your time in resort it is advantageous to have a car, though the resort does offer a comprehensive bus and train service. The nearest bus stop (Les Nants) is just 150m from the chalet. You can also walk the 3km into Chamonix on the Promenade des Econtres, a path that runs alongside the L’Arve river.
Chalet les Trois Soeurs is available to rent on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping and daily delivery of bread & pastries. Additional services such as in-chalet catering or driver service can all be arranged at extra cost.
