Finally, on the top floor is the impressive open-plan living and entertaining area. Here you can cosy-up in front of the fireplace with a good book or stream your favourite series, dine with a mountain backdrop, and prepare tasty home cooking in the modern kitchen. Across the front of this floor is a balcony accessed from sliding doors and from where you can enjoy the sunset each evening.

The chalet has been built into the hillside, so from the top floor you can step out of the back door and down some steps onto a decked area with a hot tub.

To access the ski slopes you have several choices. There is a bus stop a short walk from the chalet, offering a free bus service to the ski lifts and into town, or up to Lac Montriond. The service runs until around 6pm in the evening. In summer, this service is available at peak times and on a more limited schedule. Many guests also drive to resort and use their own car to access the different ski lifts each morning.

Alternatively, during the winter, you can add access to an on-call 24-hour resort driver service with an additional cost. A team of drivers can take you to the ski lifts, restaurants, bars and resort attractions across Morzine and Les Gets. The drivers can take you to the Pleney gondola for accessing ski school, the Super-Morzine gondola, as well as the Ardents and Prodains lifts, making it easy to access the high-altitude ski resort of Avoriaz as well.

If enjoying a stay during the summer, you can cross the road and head down the valley to the riverside path. This family friendly route meanders past ponies, play equipment and forest high-wire courses into the centre of Morzine. You’ll emerge next to the village’s open-air swimming pools, tennis courts and indoor ice-skating rink at the Aquatic centre and Parc des Dereches sports centre.

For larger groups, this beautiful chalet sits in front of Chalet Four Twenty L’Ele, so if you are travelling in a group of up to 18 people, you can ask us about booking both properties together. They are linked by a garden path and a gate, so you can open this up and enjoy a shared outdoor space with two hot tubs or close off the access to keep Chalet Zaza private.

Chalet Zaza is available to rent on a self-catered basis in both winter and summer. In the winter ski season, it is possible to add access to a shared 24-hour resort driver service with an additional charge.
