Chalet Silver Fox is located in the exclusive Nasserein area of St Anton. Designed in the typical Austrian style, it offers 3 apartments available to rent on either a catered or bed & breakfast service level. The chalet offers a convenient location within walking distance of the gondola and ski slopes, as well as the resort centre. It makes for a great base for a ski holiday with family or friends in this world-famous ski resort.
Apartment 3 sleeps 12 and is located on the second floor. The entrance to the property opens into a hallway which provides access to both the living spaces and bedrooms. Turning right and along the hall and you arrive at the spacious living and dining area. High ceilings add to a sense of grandeur, a large library wall provides a dramatic feature, and a balcony offers views out across the resort and ski slopes.
The lounge area features sofas, chairs and bench seating and the dining table is adjacent to the well-equipped kitchen tucked away in the corner. On a catered basis, your host will prepare your meals, or if staying on a bed & breakfast, you can whip up some home cooking if you prefer not to dine out in the evenings. In the hallway, stairs also lead up to a mezzanine area where there is an additional snug seating area.
The six double bedrooms are all well-sized and offer either en-suite shower or bathrooms. There are five bedrooms on the main living level, with a further bedroom tucked away on the mezzanine floor. Five of the six bedrooms can also be arranged with twin beds so there is a great deal of flexibility for different groups, or several families looking to holiday together.
In the basement of the chalet there is garage car parking available for those driving to resort, as well as a shared wellness area with sauna and relaxation area, plus a ski room. There is also an elevator which provides access from the basement level to all three apartments.
To access the ski slopes, it is just a 350m walk to the Nasserien gondola which provides quick and easy access into the ski area. At the gondola is also a ski rental shop and ski depot for storage, as well as ski school meeting points. At the end of your ski day, simply ski back to Nasserien, store your skis and boots, and you can walk back to the chalet in your normal boots or shoes.
In Nasserein there is a small selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, but the buzzing centre of St Anton is easily accessed with a pleasant and flat 10-15-minute walk. In the resort centre there is an eclectic choice of bars and restaurants, as well as a very well-stocked supermarket and a wellness and aquatic centre. St Anton is also well known for its lively après ski scene both on the mountain and in the resort centre.
