An illuminating holiday adventure in Les Gets
These days a ski holiday is not just about skiing, especially as there is now an abundance of other mountain activities to discover and enjoy. This is especially true for families who have children to entertain, and who might not have the energy to spend all their time on the ski slopes every day. On a recent visit to Les Gets I was delighted to discover the magic of Alta Lumina, an experience the whole family can enjoy and will leave you with truly magical winter memories.
Something to note for all visitors is that the paths are uneven, so it is not suitable for pushchairs, and it is recommended that babies are carried in a carrier. The walk is 1km in length and takes a leisurely 45 minutes. As it is all outdoors, ensure you wrap up warm in wintertime, and wear suitable footwear.
Open year round, the walk must be pre-booked online before arriving, with a family ticket for 4 costing €55 (2023). As there is limited parking, there is a convenient free shuttle bus that leaves the resort centre from the market car park every 15 minutes.
