BOOKING FOR NEXT SEASON
With 2 months left of this ski season, the attention of many skiers and snowboarders has already shifted to booking their 2016/17 chalet holiday. We are now taking many enquiries and bookings, particularly for the peak weeks as well as for larger parties for which options can become limited if over 12/14 persons.
So if you know when you would like to travel, know is the time to book to afford you the best selection of available ski chalets. Also, some chalets have early booking offers available for a limited time.
Next season we will also be working with a selection of new luxury chalets as well as adding a couple of new destinations to our portfolio, so keep your eyes peeled!
With Christmas and New Years day falling on a Sunday, this has had an affect on the holiday periods over the festive period. 2 approaches have been taken to arrival and departure dates:
Christmas
Monday 19th or Tuesday 20th December 2016 for 7 nights
OR
Friday 23rd December 2016 for 7 nights
New Year
Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th December 2016 for 7 nights
OR
Friday 30th December 2016 for 8 or 9 nights
The peak half term date for next season is the week of the 11th February 2017, with some schools also off the following week, which does provide for better value.
Easter is later next season, with the weeks of the 1st and 8th April 2017, with many chalets offering some better value for clients booking the second week.
With the disparity of dates in and around the festive period, it has meant that the possibility for a short stay, pre Christmas is a possibility. If you have the possibility to get away for a few days before the big family get together, just let us know and we can propose a short list of options.
