Following on from our last two blogs, today we look at the nominees for Worlds Best New Ski Chalet in the Worlds Ski Awards. This category features ski chalets that have only operated for 1 year and are new to the rental market.

Chalet Ecurie is a hidden alpine gem, once a 130 year old Savoie stable it undertook a fabulous transformation, opening its door as a luxury ski chalet in winter 2015. Nestled in the traditional hamlet of Vaillarabout it oozes charm and a feeling of being in the ‘real’ France, whilst only a 4 minute chauffeur drive from St Martin and some of the best skiing in Europe.

Chalet Rock n Love was designed and built by Guerlain Chicherit, 4 times freeride ski champion, Dakar race driver and generally slightly crazy guy, all of which is reflected in his now expanding chalet portfolio in Tignes.

Just a short chauffeur drive from the village lifts accessing the large Espace Killy ski area this chalet really does have everything to offer. Sleeping 8 adults and 6 children in 5 en-suite bedrooms it’s easy to see why it’s a hit with families.
