St Anton in Austria
A new restaurant is to open at the top of Gampen.
Lech & Zurs in Austria
In Zürs the Ubungshang double chair is due to be replaced by a covered six pack.
Chatel in France
A new blue slope, the Forestiere, has been built to link Super-Chatel to Vonnes, where last season’s two new chairs meet.
Courchevel in France
The long awaited aquatic centre between Courchevel 1550 and Courchevel 1650 will finally open this December. More importantly it seems that this new creation is not just any old swimming baths and the centre will include water slides, wild rivers and a wave surf zone! There is also a wellness area with sauna, steam room and a restaurant. Sounds like the perfect place to escape during the winter and a fantastic addition for the summer months.
Meribel in France
The Combes quad chair out of Mottaret will be replaced by a six-pack chairlift and 2 new beginner areas are being created.
St Martin de Belleville in France
A new six-pack chairlift with replace the St Martin fast quad chairs.
Val d'Isere in France
For this winter, the current four-person chair lift “Solaise Express” along with the cable car will continue to provide the uplift to the top of the mountain. Fast forward one year to November 2016 and both of these will be replaced by one lift, a new gondola with 91 cabins each able to carry 10 people. This fantastic new lift will be resplendent with heated seats and WiFi access so that you can post your latest snowy images to your friends and family back home.
St. Moritz in Switzerland
The Mandra drag-lift serving the snowpark at mid-mountain on Corvatsch is to be replaced by a quad chair.
Zermatt in Switzerland
The Hornli T-bar to above Schwarzsee is due to be replaced by a new six-seat Hirli chair which will start lower down.
