Arrowhead Lodge is a self-catered chalet in Revelstoke, one of the finest ski resorts in North America. This spacious and modern property is perfect for groups who want to maximise their time on the ski slopes. Located just a couple of minutes’ walk from the blue Home Run, be first on the slopes every morning with the short ski down to main gondola and resort centre.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and 550m2 of floor area, and it provides the perfect base to explore this four-season destination. Nestled in the Monashee Estates area, this exclusive setting provides a private setting for your holiday. Inside the interior is light and airy, with panoramic views of the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains and the Columbia River Valley.
At the heart of the chalet and on the middle level is the huge open plan living and dining room, and kitchen. This convivial space is dominated by the stupendous views that flood in through the large picture windows. A large gas fireplace makes a dramatic statement at one end where you can curl up on a sofa and just gaze out at the mountains.
The professional kitchen with chef’s pantry and island unit with breakfast bar sits at the other end of this space. There is plentiful room for home cooking, or simply pull up a bar stool and enjoy a pre-dinner drink and chat about your day on the mountain. Sitting in the centre of this room is the elegant wood dining table where you can dine at whatever times you choose. With the slopes so close, you can even pop home for lunch.
Sleeping up to 14 guests, there are six bedrooms all offering en-suite bathrooms facilities. On the top floor are three bedrooms which can all be arranged with either double or twin beds, and feature en-suites with rain showers. On the middle floor is a further twin/double with rain shower, as well as multi-use room which can be set up as TV lounge and features two European fold-out bunk beds sleeping up to 4.
On the lowest level is the final bedroom and this suite can be locked off and offers a wet bar, lounge and optional fold out Queen bed or office space. Also on this level is a yoga / stretch area ideal for some pre-skiing warmups. A large laundry and ski room with boot and glove warmers means all your equipment can be safely stored and ensures you can be looking your best on the mountain.
Outside the striking architecture has perfectly combined the use of stone, wood, and metal to deliver a mountain home that likes to make a statement! On your return from the ski slopes the place to head is the terrace on the middle floor where you will find the outdoor hot tub and sauna. Afterwards you can gather around the firepit and make plans for your next day’s ski or snowboard.
The chalet is in an almost ski in ski out setting and is located near to the bottom of the ski slopes. In the morning a 2-minute walk just up from the chalet brings you onto the blue Home Run, from where it is an easy ski down into the resort and the main Revelation gondola. At the end of the day, you can ski back to the chalet via a ski path through the trees, and which departs from near the top of the blue Locomotion trail.
Revelstoke Mountain Resort is a 3-minute drive from the chalet and provides easy access to a small selection of restaurants plus a ski shop, making it convenient to enjoy meals and the resort’s offerings without needing to travel far. Downtown Revelstoke is a 10-15-minute drive away and offers a wider choice of dining, shopping, and recreational options. For those looking to fly directly to resort, the chalet is also under a 5km drive from Revelstoke airport.
