Chalet Couttet is a modern self-catered chalet in the world-famous mountain resort of Chamonix. Tucked away at the end of a quiet private road, the chalet sits with a backdrop of Mont Blanc and the tranquil setting is perfect for families and groups who appreciate privacy. The resort centre is a 15-20 minute walk or 5 minute drive away alongside the river L’Arve which runs through the valley.
Set within its own grounds, the chalet is arranged over three floors and 550m2 of living space. Inside the interior is contemporary, playful with splashes of colour throughout. The open plan living spaces are arranged on the middle floor, with the kitchen at the heart of this room. Large picture windows let you enjoy the views out over the terrace and to the mountains beyond whilst the wood burning stove creates a warm and cosy ambiance.
Sleeping 10 guests in five en-suite double bedrooms, there are two bedrooms on the middle floor and three on the top floor. All bedrooms have Smart TVs with international channels and the two master bedrooms also have Apple TV. Each room has been individually styled and offer stunning mountains views. Two of the bedrooms can also be arranged with twin beds if required.
The chalet is fantastically equipped for entertainment and relaxation. On the ground floor, the large cinema room is perfect for snowy nights in, whilst the games room with pool table and Deco styled cocktail bar perfect for some pre-dinner fun. The dedicated spa area features a private massage treatment area with two treatment tables and can also be converted to a yoga room. The sauna and hammam offer a warm and easy way to rejuvenate tired bodies and minds.
Step outside onto the expansive south facing terraces and here you can sink into the large hot tub, especially enjoyable after a day’s skiing. The 12m heated outdoor swimming pool can be enjoyed during the summer and winter. During the summer months the terrace is decked out with sun loungers, BBQ and outdoor dining facilities making it the perfect space for family fun or sophisticated ‘Al fresco’ dining with a backdrop of Mont Blanc.
Please note: The outdoor heated swimming pool is operational all year round, and in the winter months it features a cover to ensure the pool is warm and under which you can swim.
In the winter months, the ski and boot room can be accessed directly from your vehicle. With four separate ski areas to discover, Chamonix is a great resort for those self-driving to resort. The Chamonix valley and the buzzing resort centre offers lots to discover and is an excellent choice for those with any non-skiers in their group.
In the summer months you can discover an endless array of hiking and mountain bike trails, play a round of golf, or why not head over into Italy via the Mont Blanc tunnel
The chalet is available on a self-catered basis and includes an early morning breakfast service of bread and pastries, along with a welcome hamper and fridge essentials on arrival.
