Chalet Eiger is a self-catered chalet in Courchevel 1550. Located in the Les Brigues area of this family friendly ski resort, the ski lifts and slopes are just a few minute’s walk away. The chalet sleeps 10 people in 5 bedrooms all with en-suite bath or shower rooms. Arranged over 5 floors all connected by elevator, the 272m2 of living space is decorated in a modern yet homely style.
The top floor of the chalet is dedicated to open plan living and the double height ceiling adds to the spacious feeling of the chalet. The lounge with large comfy sofa and quirky large fireplace benefits from expansive views of the Courchevel valley to the glacial slopes of the Sommet de Bellecôte opposite. These views can also be enjoyed from the balcony, the perfect spot for a pre-dinner aperitif.
The well-equipped kitchen overlooks the lounge area, thus ensuring all members of your group can enjoy each other’s company, whether relaxing or busy at work preparing dinner. The dining table is adjacent to the kitchen and sits under feature lighting to create a special ambiance for private evening dinner parties.
One floor down and you will discover the master double bedroom as well as another double room. Both feature en-suite bath or shower rooms and balconies. The middle floor of the chalet has a further double room and a double/twin, each with en-suite shower rooms and balcony or terrace access. The final bedroom is on the first floor and is a twin/double room with en-suite shower and terrace access.
For added comfort the first floor is also home to leisure area with TV room and bar. After a day’s skiing the 3 Valleys, you can also unwind in the relaxation area with sauna, Italian shower, loungers as well as some gym equipment for those who enjoy a further workout. The entrance floor to the chalet features a garage and ski room with boot warmers.
The Tovets chairlift is a 280m walk from the chalet and provides a direct link to Courchevel 1850. Courchevel 1550 (Village) is a popular destination for families and the resort has its own ski school meeting points and children’s nursery. For children between 3 and 6 years the Maison des Enfants offer a 300m2 dedicated play area in the snow in which to play and enjoy their first sliding sensations.
Chalet Eiger is a semi-detached chalet, with the adjoining property, Chalet Monch, also sleeping 10 people. These chalets can be rented together as Chalet Jungfrau, which sleeps 20 people and the perfect option for large group ski holidays or several families who wish to spend their winter vacation together.
For a couple of families, or group of friends, Chalet Eiger is a great value ski chalet in Courchevel 1550. The chalet is available on a self-catered basis.
