Chalet Sisimiut is located in the private “Hameau de Macarandou” in Courchevel 1550 (Village). The chalet is within easy walking distance of the centre of Courchevel Village, about 500 metres from the chalet. Courchevel 1550 has a bubble lift that links it directly to the centre of Courchevel 1850, thus affording a great value alternative but with quick and easy access to the exclusive boutiques and restaurants of 1850.
The chalet is arranged over 3 floors and 400m2 of living space. Sleeping 10 to 14 guests, there are 5 bedrooms all featuring en-suite bathrooms facilities. This phenomenal chalet provides an unforgettable feeling of well-being and offers a perfect set-up – around the bar or the fireplace – for intimate moments or time of sharing with family or friends.
Part of the small hamlet of chalets “Le Hameau de Marcandou”, Sisimiut reveals a subtle combination between precious materials, traditional fabrics and objects gathered from all over the world. Guests are inevitably struck by the size of its living area and the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
The fabulous salon of Sisimiut and its fully equipped kitchen – with or without chef – caters for the requirements of great gourmet dinner parties as well as intimate dinners for two.
There is a mezzanine level above the ground floor which is home to the family suite. The family suite is comprised of 1 double bed and two sofa beds and can accommodate up to 4 guests. There is an en-suite bathroom with double sink, copper cauldron bathtub, and large walk in shower. There is also a children’s school desk on the mezzanine.
On the lower level of Chalet Sisimiut is where one can find most of the bedrooms as well as the leisure facilities. The master bedroom has a double bed, walk in wardrobe, terrace access and en-suite bathroom. A double/twin room as well as another family suite which can sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children thanks to a bunk bed, complete this floor.
The middle floor of the chalet is home to the wonderful open plan living spaces filled full of colour and conversation pieces. There are endless spots to relax and unwind, or with a glass of wine at the bar before dinner. The final double bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located on this floor and provides disabled access.
The crowning glory of Chalet Sisimiut has to be the fabulous wellness facilities. The chalet has an indoor / outdoor heated swimming pool complete with counter current, as well as a hammam / steam room and a dedicated massage room. What better place to relax and rejuvenate after a long day skiing in the Three Valleys?
Guests also have access to the NUUK barn, a 20m2 multi-purpose room, fully equipped to host your work meetings as well as your well-being and fitness activities. Equipped with both gym equipment, or convertible to a meeting space, this feature is usable by all clients staying at the Hameau de Marcandou.
Chalet Sisimiut is available on a bed & breakfast basis with a daily continental breakfast and daily housekeeping included, as well as access to a driver service in Courchevel 1550 from 9am to 6pm daily.
For large groups, the three chalets of the Hameau de Marcandou can sleep up to 20 adults and 8 children. This hamlet of chalets would work perfectly for a large group of friends or several families looking to holiday together. Along with Chalet Sisimiut, there is Chalet Ilulissat that can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children, and Chalet Ikamiut that can sleep up to 4-6 people.
