Chalet Goyard is a luxury ski chalet located in Courchevel Moriond (1650), and one of the chalets in the Domaine des Glaciers private hamlet at the entrance to the resort. This luxury chalet features a contemporary interior and well-appointed en-suite bedrooms. The resort centre is just a 200 metre walk away, so it is easy to enjoy all this relaxed and sunny ski resort has to offer.
The chalet is spread across four floors and 257m2 of floor area all connected by both stairs and an elevator. Balconies and terraces on every floor offer views of the Courchevel slopes and the Vanoise peaks. Sleeping up to 12 guests the chalet offers a stylish interior, a relaxation area and easy access to the 3 Valleys slopes, the world’s largest ski area.
The living space is arranged on the top floor under the impressive roof timbers. The kitchen, dining room and living room sit side by side in a vast open plan design. The fireplace sits at the centre of the room, providing warmth to both the living and dining areas. There are plentiful sofas and armchairs in which to recline and the dining table and breakfast bar opportunities for formal or relaxed dining.
The six bedrooms are split evenly between the middle two floors. There are five double bedrooms along with a bunk room with a beautiful in-built bunk bed. On the ground floor is your private wellness area with sunken hot tub and sauna, along with a shower room and toilet.
The chalet is also equipped with ski storage and boot warmers, along with a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. If any of your group prefer to self-drive to Courchevel, there is also a car parking space available.
To access the ski slopes it is a 400m walk to the main snow front and the Ariondaz gonolda. The Ariondaz gonolda brings you up to an altitude of 2,052m and from where you can choose to ski the quieter local slopes, or head over towards the pistes of Courchevel 1850. Courchevel 1650 has an excellent network of green, blue and red slopes all with stunning views away from the crowds.
On the main snow front are the ski school meeting points as well as the Club Piou Piou for 3 to 5-year-olds where they can start their own adventures on snow. Courchevel Moriond is one of the best ski resorts in the Alps for learning to ski with excellent tuition and slopes to progress on. There are also ski lockers available to rent for the week next to the ESF office so you can leave your boots and skis close to the departure of the slopes and not have to carry your equipment every day.
Courchevel Moriond as it is now known, or Courchevel 1650 as it used to be called, has a wide array of bars and restaurants, with something for everyone’s taste and budget. There is a very well-stocked supermarket and excellent bakery too. The Aquamotion aquatic, wellness and sports centre is also easily accessed by foot or using the resort ski bus.
Chalet Goyard is available to rent on a bed & breakfast basis with a housekeeper to prepare daily breakfasts and provide daily housekeeping. Food and drink costs are additional for the breakfast provisions.
