Valambrun is an exceptional catered chalet in the authentic French ski resort of Les Gets. Sleeping up to 10 adults and 5 children in 5 charming bedrooms, the chalet is a great choice for large groups or several families. Full of endless boutique style the chalet even comes with its own private spa area with indoor swimming pool and steam room.
Les Gets is part of the extensive Portes du Soleil ski area, and the local slopes are perfect for learning to ski as well as racking up endless kilometres on beautiful treelined pistes.
The chalet is an easy and flat walk to the centre of Les Gets and 700m from the main Chavannes lift. It is quick and easy from here to access the ski slopes above Morzine, whilst the Mont Chery area is an absolute delight that is often very quiet.
The chalet is arranged over three floors with the entrance on the ground floor. Upon entering the chalet on your left is a hand-crafted wooden ski room which has plenty of hanging space and top of the range boot and glove dryers so your kit will be warm and dry for the start of your ski day. The ground floor is completed with the private spa facilities which are a great feature of this chalet, especially for any non skiers in your group.
Unwind after an exhilarating day’s skiing or snowboarding and take a dip in the indoor swimming pool under a ceiling of twinkly lights. For rejuvenating tired bodies, the calm space of the steam room will invigorate aching limbs. Afterwards relax poolside on a lounger with a chilled drink or perhaps a glass of wine or refreshing beer!
For the 2019/20 winter ski season a new outdoor hot tub was installed and for the 2020/21 ski season a new cinema/yoga room will be created on the lowest level.
Heading up the stairs to the first floor and you are greeted by the impressive open plan living and dining spaces. This floor is flooded with natural light due to the fabulous floor to ceiling patio doors that open out onto the balconies. The furniture is stylish and includes a beautiful Andrew Martin reclaimed oak and chrome coffee table and a luxury linen L-shaped sofa surround the large roaring fire.
The chalet is well-equipped for entertainment with a large flatscreen TV, WiFi, Sonos system and selection of board games to enjoy. Just off the main living area is the first bedroom with the final four bedrooms located on the second floor. All are furnished with their own unique look, using sumptuous wool and velvet throws, sheepskin rugs along with Christian Lacroix and Ralph Lauren bedroom chairs.
The chalet is rented on a catered basis with in-resort driver service. Prices are based on sole occupancy of the chalet for up to 10 guests. There is an additional charge for the 11th-15th guests.
