Chalet Griottes is one of a handful of exclusive ski in ski out chalets in Méribel. Located right on the Doron home slope, each morning a very short ski takes you to La Chaudanne, the main lift area and ski school meeting point. At the end of the day, you can ski right back to your terrace, perhaps after a stop off at the Ronnie après ski bar a few hundred metres above the chalet.
Along with its fantastic location, Griottes is a spacious and homely self-catered ski chalet. After clicking off your skis, sit back and relax and enjoy the stunning views up the Méribel Valley towards Mont Vallon.There is a discrete outdoor sunken hot tub, where you can revive aching muscles as you watch the sun setting behind the Roc de Fer mountain ridge.
The chalet can sleep up to 12 adults in 6 en-suite bedrooms. With 3 bedrooms on the lower floor, one on the main living floor and the 2 master rooms on the top floor, there is plenty of space for privacy for a group or several families. Two of the bedrooms can accommodate a child on an additional single bed.
The modern and airy open plan living room has a roaring log-fire as its centrepiece, with plenty of comfortable sofa seating. The dining area has a large oval table and looks out onto the terrace and its views towards Mont Vallon. The chalet provides a cosy and relaxing home from which to explore the 3 Valleys ski area.
On the lower level there is a games room along with ski room with boot warmers. There are also laundry facilities available. Access to the chalet is gained via a driveway and 2 short sets of steps so is not so easy to access with a push-chair. For those looking for a chalet with an exclusive location on the Route de la Renarde and ski in ski out access, Chalet Griottes in Meribel is the perfect choice.
The chalet is available on a self-catered basis but it is possible to add in additional services such as a chef, butler and in-resort driver service to create a catered chalet package – please enquire for further information.
