Chalet La Folie is a luxury self-catered ski chalet in Meribel. Located on the exclusive Routes des Chalets, you are in a charming setting just to the side of the ski slopes, offering access to the blue Doron piste just 150m away. The property is arranged over four floors and 420m2 of floor area. Sleeping up to 10 guests, there are five en-suite bedrooms spread between three floors.
The living room on the first floor is centred on a wood burning fireplace and features plenty of plump sofas and comfy seating. To one end of this room there is a trendy bar area with bar stools and the other, access onto the wide balcony. The living space leads round to the dining room and spacious, well-equipped kitchen. This living space and balcony face south and west so you enjoy the best of each day’s sunshine.
The chalet has five double bedrooms, four of which can also be arranged with twin beds, plus four bathrooms and one shower room. On the lowest level you can step out onto a large terrace with outdoor hot tub. The garden is perfect for making snowmen in the cold winter months, whilst in the warming spring months the terrace furniture is the perfect place to return to.
On the ground floor is also a sauna and fitness room, as well as an entertainment room with TV area, pool table and table football. So there are plenty of amenities to enjoy if there are some members of your group who do not wish to head onto the ski slopes every day.
From the chalet you are just a short walk to the edge of the Doron piste, from where you can ski directly down to the main ski lifts and ski school meeting points of the Chaudanne in Meribel Centre. At the end of the day, you are also only a short ski back from the infamous Rond Point or “Ronnie” après ski venue.
A 250m walk away brings you to several restaurants and bars, ski rental shops and small supermarket, all located in Meribel Morel. The free ski resort bus also stops just a 4 minute walk away from the chalet.
