Chalet Merveilles is a modern ski in ski out chalet in Tignes, located in the village of Tignes Les Boisses. For those who want to be first on the ski slopes, being situated directly opposite the ski slopes is one of the many perks of this chalet. Les Boisses is famed for the giant dam and lake that Tignes is also known for, whilst the views of Mont Blanc and the Isere valley below will have you taking lots of holiday photos.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 380m2 of living space. Entering the chalet on the ground floor you can conveniently enter directly into the ski and boot room, and for those self-driving to resort there is a garage with space for 1 car. The rest of this floor is dedicated to the private spa and wellness facilities with an indoor swimming pool, relaxation area, sauna and steam room.
Sleeping up to 10 adults and 3 children, the main bedrooms are all located on the first floor where there are five double or twin rooms all with en-suite shower or bathrooms. The final bedroom is located on the third floor and is a joyful den-style children’s room with three single beds as well as space to play. The rooms feature plenty of beautiful timber panelling and muted decorative tones.
The main open plan living spaces are spread across the second floor. The living room benefits from a double height ceiling and vintage ski equipment that has been repurposed into unique furniture and fittings. The fully equipped kitchen has all you need for whipping up delicious home cooked meals. The pool table and large TV mean there is plenty of entertainment to be enjoyed in this spacious and convivial space.
For children or those looking for ski lessons, there are ski school meeting points in Les Boisses, and it is a 400m ski down to the Boisses gondola.
A free resort ski bus connects Tignes Les Boisses to Tignes Le Lac from before the ski lifts start turning to late into the evening. This lets you enjoy all the extensive resort activities in Le Lac, as well as the lively après ski and large selection of restaurants located throughout Tignes.
For larger groups, Chalet Merveilles can be rented together with Chalet Monts which is located next door. This would provide occupancy for up to 20 adults and 7 children in 12 en-suite bedrooms.
