Penthouse Chamois is a luxurious and spacious apartment in Val d’Isere, nestled on the 4th floor of a prestigious residence. The residence is located at the entrance of the resort in the La Daille area, which has a selection of bars and restaurants as well as a good-sized supermarket. Inside the apartment features huge wooden beams, double-height windows and stylish design. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed from the large terrace which faces the Olympic piste and will give you a unique view of the torchlight descent.
This penthouse can accommodate up to 10 people with its 4 en-suite double/twin bedrooms and a further double room with queen sized bed. Everything is designed for a relaxed stay and in the distance, you can see the illuminated Face de Bellevarde. The open plan living room with fireplace provides a convivial space for all to enjoy and the kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catered holiday.
The Telecabin la Daille bubble lift and Funival mountain railway are both only an easy 150m walk away. The bubble lift provides a link through to Tignes via the Tommeuses or Borsat chairlifts, as well as good selection of cruising runs to start your ski day. The Funival leads to the Rocher de Bellevarde and direct access into the skiing above the centre of Val d’Isere.
At the end of your ski day, you can enjoy some après ski on the mountain at the Folie Douce, and then ski directly down to La Daille and walk the couple of minutes back to the residence. To access the centre of Val d’Isere, you can either walk the 1,500m on a flat footpath or use the regular free ski bus which runs late into the night.
The apartment has access to a ski locker with boot warmers and 2 garage car parking spaces.
For larger groups, it is possible to also rent the neighbouring Penthouse Fleche and to privatise the entire 4th floor for groups of up to 18.
Penthouse Chamois is available to rent on a self-catered basis. It is also possible to arrange additional services such as breakfast and dinner delivery, as well as daily cleaning.
