Perfectly located right in the centre of the Dolomites Val Gardena, Ortisei is surrounded by almost endless mountains, making it the ideal location for ski tours in the winter and hikes in the summer months. The Seceda, Pitschberg, and Resciesa, are some of the most famous mountains that are part of the stunning view you can enjoy from Ortisei.

There is a vast array of skiing for all levels, including a beginner nursery area in the resort. You can enjoy 500km of directly connected slopes with one ski pass, as well as 60 cosy mountain huts to discover and enjoy. With continual investment in the lift system, as well as a world leading snowmaking system, the season starts at the beginning of December until Easter.

Off the slopes, the pedestrian area in Ortisei is often described as the most beautiful shopping street in the Dolomites. It connects the chapel of Saint Ulrich to the Antonius church, where you can simply enjoy the walk and mountain air, or pop into one of the many boutiques. There is an abundance of cafes where you can savour homemade cake with coffee.
