Chalet Sellaronda, is a new luxury chalet in Selva in the beautiful Italian Dolomites, which opened in the summer of 2021. Enjoy spectacular views and elegant yet rustic furnishings along with five-star service in the privacy of this home away from home. The team pride themselves on attention to detail, from the service they offer to their wealth of local knowledge, which all add to making for a truly memorable holiday.
The chalet has a total space of 280m2 and is adjacent to the Hotel Rodella. Arranged over 2 floors, it offers a spacious living and dining area with log fire and kitchen on the upper level. The chalet sleeps up to 9 adults or 8 adults and 2 children. There are four comfortable suites which can be arranged with either double or twin beds and all have en-suite shower rooms. The fifth bedroom has a double or twin bed for either 1 adult or 2 children, and has a separate shower room.
The chalet also has its own private spa area with Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, wellness shower, panoramic relax area, plus outdoor Jacuzzi. You will also have use of the hotel’s beautiful spa which was also completed in the summer of 2021. The spa area offers a heated in/outdoor infinity swimming pool with breathtaking views of the village and Sella Group, plus a panoramic relaxation area.
There are also two outdoor whirlpools on the raised sun terrace, the ideal place to enjoy the evening sun. The sauna area consists of a Finnish sauna, steam bath, ice fountain and ‘Kneipp’, relaxation area with water beds, infrared beds and Vital corner.
For those who like to pamper themselves a little more on holiday, a beautician or masseuse is ready to offer a range of massages and treatments. The entertainment room is equipped with a pool table, darts, bar and cinema area. The hotel’s wine tavern can be booked for cheese and local wine tasting.
In the morning head down to the ski and boot room, and your dedicated shuttle bus will take you on the 3 minute ride to and from the ski slopes and village centre each day between 7:30-19:00.
Selva Gardena is part of the Super Ski Dolomiti area which totals 1200km of prepared pistes, more than 500km of which can be skied from Selva without taking a single bus! The vast majority of the lifts in the area are latest generation 4 to 8 seat chairlifts, some even heated or bubble lifts.
The valley also boasts 150km of cross-country ski tracks and lots of scenic walking and snow shoeing can be enjoyed from right outside the chalet door in this stunning area. The Dolomites have also been listed a world heritage site by UNESCO, so beautiful surroundings are guaranteed.
For smaller groups or families, or if you require extra sleeping capacity, you can also choose between Chalet Selva sleeping 4, Chalet Panorama sleeping 5, or Chalet The Loft sleeping 6.
Chalet Sellaronda is available on a catered basis and priced for up to 8 guests. The chalet can sleep 1 additional adult or 2 additional children with a further charge. Wine and bar drinks are an additional cost.
