Chalet Tuftra is located in Zermatt’s only ski-in ski-out district, Winkelmatten, it is right on the edge of the forest and you often see the deer feeding from the balcony. This area is known as the “Beverly Hills” of Zermatt and has some fantastic restaurants and bars, children’s play areas and shops.
From the chalet you can ski through the meadow and down to the Klein Matterhorn Express and you can ski back to the door of the chalet down the Moosweg ski-run.
This penthouse apartment is accessed by elevator and is very spacious for 6 people, perfect for a family or small group of friends. The decor has been finished in a beautiful alpine style.
There is a spacious open plan lounge and dining area, open fire and modern fully fitted and equipped kitchen. All 3 bedrooms have en-suite facilities equipped with bath or shower, whilst two bathrooms also have steam showers. Each room has flat screen TV for reception of satellite TV, the living rooms each have a large flat screen. The entire penthouse is equipped with WiFi.
The spacious dining and living areas are clad with mountain spruce, oak wood floors, Swarovski chandeliers and together with the open fireplace exude comfort and cosiness. From the balconies you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view.
Chalet Tuftra 6 is directly next to Chalet Tuftra 4 and can be booked separately or taken together to form Chalet Tuftra 10 to accommodate larger groups of 10. You would therefore command the entire top floor of the building.
Each apartment has its own private laundry with clothes dryers for your convenience.
